The new rules for evaluating blades based on flexibility also include the statement "If a blade does not meet the criteria established below, it may not be used for any form of rapier combat in the Society, unless it is first approved by the Deputy Society Marshal for Rapier Combat and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. "
This dagger by Therion Arms is interesting, but fits in this category of needing to be evaluated before it can be used for SCA rapier combat.

As my Deputy for Blades says "It's not analogous in construction, type, tipping, or most of anything else to daggers we use now. "
